A boomerang's trajectory has also shaped my life’s journey so far. My family migrated from Shenzhen to Sydney when I was ten years old. Their choice to relocate to Australia was the right one, as they enjoyed the laid-back lifestyle under the sun. For me, however, I found that I much preferred the vibrant city lights. So, after graduating from the Australian National University with a master’s degree, I decided to pursue a career in Japan. I started at a global Japanese manufacturer and then moved into consulting. For example, I was able to set up a “Coffee Industry Club” with two of my MBA 2024 classmates.
