“The sport of rowing has become an emblem of top universities.” Modern rowing as a competitive sport can be traced back to the early 17th century when professional watermen held races (regattas) on the River Thames in London, England. The CEIBS Alumni Rowing Association aims to promote the sport of rowing among alumni by holding regular activities, including rowing training, rowing race, and other sports and cultural events.
